Ingredients:
- 1 cup pitted dates, soaked in hot water for 15 minutes
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a small baking dish (8×8 inches or equivalent) with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine the soaked dates (drained), applesauce, cocoa powder, almond flour, Greek yogurt, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Blend the ingredients until you have a smooth, thick batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (you want them slightly gooey).
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the baking dish before slicing into six servings.
